Job Description / Title: Computer Technician / Engineer
Status: Full-time, 6 weeks trial period, immediate start.
Hours: 40 (overtime available)
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience
Holidays: 30 days
Training: On-going, in-house.
Parking: Free Parking
Dress: Casual.
Day-to-day duties: Recovery of data from various models of hard drives and data storage devices. Examples of your duties would be to examine hard drives and use various specialist software and hardware to retrieve lost data. You may also be required to sort and sign for any correspondence, answer any e-mail and telephone enquiries regarding any hard drives etc sent by clients and dispatch any completed work by post.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree standard of IT competence and understanding. A good working knowledge/experience of computers and the ability to learn software quickly would be an advantage. A real enthusiasm and willingness to learn, along with an intuitive knowledge of computers, will be the main criteria for consideration for this position.
