These Fujitsu drives will fail without prior problems and for no apparent reason. The symptoms of this common failure include:
- Not recognized in the BIOS
- Recognized incorrectly in the BIOS
- Drive does not spin up
- Drive clicks
The cause of this problem is directly linked to a batch of faulty Cirrus Logic chips which are located on the controller card.
We are able to perform a 100% recovery on all failed fujitsu hard drives displaying these symptoms.
Please feel free to call one of our engineers to discuss this failure further.
